Senior Systems Administrator (Nov 2009 – April 2012)

Communicated technological needs, issues, and criteria across all levels of the organization. Assisted other Senior Managers with technology recommendations specific for their department. Worked with third party vendors to establish contracts for future assets. Maintained systems security and manage user access across all systems within the organization. Performed duties of Systems Administrator, focusing on communications. Worked as a team with developers to meet organizations needs. Core duties included managing an Active Directory Forest, managing Exchange, managing Active Directory users, and making recommendations to senior members for future upgrades. Other duties included creating and maintaining an inventory of I.T. assets, enforcing acceptable use policy through group policies, performing data forensics on mission-critical data that was erased, and creating a backup plan across the entire organization

ASP.NET Developer (Feb 2008 – Oct 2009)

Sole developer for the Kanawha County Schools system. Created dynamic web content to power the primary Kanawha County Schools portal. Maintained seventy individual websites for each school in the county. Maintained systems that powered the web servers for all seventy schools. Created a new food inventory system for Office of Nutrition using ASP.NET. Created a new bus logistics system for Office of Transportation. Troubleshot workstations as needed, being the only Microsoft Certified Professional in the department. Taught Dreamweaver classes at the request of the Office of Technology.
